Stays on your device

Screen Time data and blocked apps (Apple's APIs — unreadable by us, by design; the name you give a limit is never sent either), live verification photos (analyzed in memory, never stored or uploaded), location checks (no trips recorded; place-name search queries Apple Maps), HealthKit data (read only, never written), your balance, goals and history. Optional iCloud sync of your streak goes through your personal iCloud only. Bundled templates ship inside the app; importing or exporting one is a file you hand over yourself.

AI

AI goal creation, available on iPhones with Apple Intelligence, uses Apple's on-device model: your description never leaves your iPhone. No cloud service, no third-party AI.

What we collect

Usage analytics (PostHog, EU hosting) are on by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings (the app works the same either way). They then record usage events under a random install identifier, along with app version, language and device model; your IP address is seen by the server on receipt. Never a name, email, advertising identifier, or the name of a blocked app. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat (anonymous ID). No ads, no cross-app tracking, no data sales. Scrollworthy has no account and no application server, so we hold no user profile.

Legal basis, retention, processors

Our legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used, to fix and improve it, for usage analytics (GDPR art. 6.1.f), with a one-tap objection in Settings; performance of the contract for purchases (art. 6.1.b). Usage events are kept for 12 months. Processors: PostHog (analytics, EU hosting), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Apple (distribution, payment, iCloud); RevenueCat and Apple may process data in the US under standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Turning analytics off in Settings stops collection immediately; deleting the app erases everything local. Requests, including deletion of events already sent: amin2020e@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French CNIL.

Publisher

Scrollworthy is published by Tahar Touzi, sole trader, amin2020e@gmail.com, who is also the data controller. This site is hosted on a server operated by the publisher (infrastructure provider: to be completed).
