1. Acceptance

Scrollworthy is an iOS application that blocks distracting apps you choose and converts your verified real-world effort into screen time. By downloading or using Scrollworthy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. How Scrollworthy works

Scrollworthy uses Apple's Screen Time framework to block apps you select yourself. All blocking is self-imposed and configurable by you. Earned time, goals and verification run on your device. Scrollworthy is a self-improvement tool: it is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome (reduced screen time, improved focus, fitness results or otherwise).

3. Subscriptions and payment

• Scrollworthy is a paid app: access requires a yearly subscription, a weekly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Where a free trial is offered, it is shown before you confirm and converts to the paid subscription at its end unless cancelled.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• The lifetime purchase covers the current app for as long as we distribute it on the App Store; it is not transferable outside your Apple account.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the goals you set and for using verifications (camera checks, location, workouts, NFC/QR tags) safely — never while driving or in situations requiring your attention.
• Strict mode intentionally delays disabling the blocking by 24 hours. Do not rely on Scrollworthy to access apps in an emergency; the iOS system itself always remains usable.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Scrollworthy.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design, name and content are our property. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

6. Warranty and liability

Scrollworthy is provided « as is », without warranty of any kind. Blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time system, which may occasionally delay or fail to apply restrictions; we are not liable for time spent in apps despite the blocking, nor for any indirect damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months.

7. Termination and changes

You can stop using Scrollworthy and delete it at any time. We may update these terms or the app's features; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use after a change means acceptance. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

8. Governing law and contact
